András Volom  graduated from the Semmelweis Medical University (Budapest, Hungary) in 1984. From the beginning of his career adhesive filling materials and their applications have been in the forefront of his attention. After the fall of the communist era in Hungary, he was the first full-time private dental practitioner in his country. He is active in the education and training of dentists. He established the Dr Volom Dental Training Center in 2004.

Dr.Volom is experienced in preparing and delivering presentations, hands-on trainings. 3-400 dentists per year participate his hands-on courses. 

The training center is a partner of Cosmedent's Center for Esthetic Excellence. He is a regularly invited speaker at the Faculty of Dentistry Szeged University and Pécs Univerisity. Also lectured in several countries.
Continuing education is mandatory for him. He made his implantology course in 1999 at the Branemark Institute. He continuously attends lectures, hands-on trainings.
He published articles and was co-author of several textbooks.
His recent works focuses on less explored parts of dentistry.  


He was member of AACD for several years. Dr.Volom is a member of the European Federation of Periodontology, Hungarian Society of Periodontology and founding member of the Hungarian Academy for Eshtetic Dentistry. He is also a founding member of Hungarian Society of Interdisciplinary Orofacial Functional Therapy
